Baby Boom Boom Resources

February 10, 2009 – 11:36 am

Here is some more information to help with your Baby Boomers push.  I’m not going to pretend I know what I’m talking about here.  I can guess the best strategies and place to reach out too, but I’m not a baby boomer, and I’m way to lazy to call my mom and ask her.

  • PC Magazine listed the 10 Best Sites for Baby Boomers. I think TDB.com has some strong marketing opprotunties.
  • Deffintelty check out the transcript on CBS from Regina Lewis on the Early Show.  There is some interesting information there.  (What’s www.eons.com and can I put applications on it?…. do baby boomers even use applications…?)
  • David Lindberg’s has an interesting blog, Davy’s Locker.  In his own words, “the blog is my attempt to help my fellow Baby Boomers deal with current issues we are all facing as we approach retirement years, career changes, outsourcing, aging parents, alzheimer’s and all the life changing events that we are dealing with currently or soon will.”  It might not have the best technorati ranking ever, but the site will give you some good insight into Baby Boomers.
  • The Boomer Blog is also another good blog to read. Its by Fleishman-Hillard baby boomer practice group.
  • Read Charles Duhigg’s article in the New York Times, Six Decades at the Center of Attention, and Counting.
  • eMarketer always has useful information, no matter what the topic.

What other resources are good?

Enjoy this very funny baby boomer video I found on YouTube by mtsmith87
