Yoono: An Easy Way To Manage Social Networking Overkill

One of the biggest problems with social media is the management of a consistent message across multiple platforms. I am constantly switching between Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, ect… it really is a pain in the butt.
Now there is a desktop application that will let you manage your client’s (or your) social graph form one simple location. Yoono, a social network aggregator that acts as a plug in for IE and Firefox recently launched a desktop application. I don’t know why they didn’t just start with a desktop app. It’s so much smarter than a plug-in. But what do I know; I’m just a pr/marketing guy.
The system supports: Facebook, MySpace, iMeem, Twitter, Flickr and FriendFeed.
Just be careful. Yoono is a start-up company. They might have $4m in funding, but I am sure their burn is sick. I am sure they will have a bunch of bugs in the first few releases.
For now, they had great reviews from TechCrunch, Mashable, Webware, ReadWriteWeb and The Washington Post. That’s impressive.
